What is an ideal memorial day? Zane, Meg, Kelli, and myself went to Sebasitan inlet on the Florida Atlantic coast, and we tried to do it right. Was there camping? Yeah! The wind was blowing about 20 mph off the beach, but Zane and I cleared out spots with our bare hands. Now we call our hands Man-chetes. Was there a fire? Of course! We had to be determined, but we got a fire going despite the winds and the lack of wood. All you need is a fire hole, surf boards and wind breaks, some palmetto branches, driftwood, and a lighter. Was there roasting of food over the fire? No, because the girls put out the fire after they freak out when they saw lights on the beach. I'm glad they did though, because I don't want no fire fine. Was there any cool animals? Sure! We were able to witness a huge sea turtle hatch out some eggs on the beach, and then it crawled back into the ocean. So cool! Side note, I never knew Meg knew so much about sea turtles. Was there surfing? No doubt! Me and Zane tried to rip it up despite being way out of shape, but it was real good. And this was all possible thanks to our new Jeep Renegade that God blessed us with! 4x4 and ready for road trips. Check out the pics
